Field-Coil Speaker(s)

Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa, reaches 5,895 meters (19,340 feet) above sea level, tall enough to maintain a permanent snow cap despite being just 330 kilometers (210 miles) south of the equator. It is the tallest free-standing mountain on the Earth's land surface, rising about 4,600 meters (15,000 feet) above the surrounding plain.

It is a pleasure introducing my Field-Coil Speaker(s) Kilimanjaro-Series.
Sound quality matters! With these speaker drivers you'll reach the top!

Inspired from vintage audio like Isophon, Lowther, JBL, Altec, RCA, Jensen, Western Electric and Klangfilm, a series of several speakers is in production now. Because to me a few of these vintage speakers sounded unequaled native and musical. But some aren't available any more. And the used field-coil technology has a number of benefits.

My goal is a reproduction system where I can lean back and enjoy music. For my ears the famous Voice of the Theatre 825 and the speaker drivers of the early Hartsfield reached this goal best. These legends can be equipped with my Field-Coil Speaker(s). My WVL speakers show even more details and air, the musicians are more (t)here without music sounding HiFi-ish. And if you are not an owner of a set 606, 820, 825, 4560, C30 or C31 enclosures you will find helpful hints to a corresponding cabinet in my Solutions tab.

Take a tour and see what I'm doing.
