As a young boy I have been to Africa with my parents for years. Later I came back and refreshed my recollection and impressions.
Kilimanjaro – a fascinating mountain in an unforgettable area. Rising forceful from the surrounding plain. A symbol for pursue objectives.
About 25 years ago I owned a High-End store and have had the chance to hear a lot!! of famous brands in electronics and speakers. In search for "real" music I collected vintage audio the same time and found these to be more musical as most of the newer inventions. To make the story short: an early "Voice.of.the.Theatre" and a C30 remained in my memory as the most satisfying speaker systems. This and a lot new experiences with almost every audio hype around guided me to build a few high-quality speakers myself with the vintage "cream cakes" as patterns.
You may find it interesting what I owned before my decision to build my own components. Please don't scare but I'm sure I did not hear all of the existing "audio heavens"... (and I listened to several different models from most manufacturers thoroughly).
